AMPHIBIOUS CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS
The amphibious centrifugal pumps are a technological innovation for transportation of fluids that use closed or semi-open impellers with radial, mixed or axial flows.
Its main feature is the ability to operate both in and out of water with the same equipment, providing low energy losses and increasing its operational efficiency, among other advantages.
AERATORS AND MIXERS
The HIGRA's submerged mixers and aerators are designed and manufactured following the main international standards of quality, environment, health and safety. They are manufactured with 100% recyclable materials, fulfilling the effluent treatment market’s needs.
The main operational advantages of the products include high rates of oxygenation, wide mixture zone, elimination of emissions of particles to the atmosphere and the low level of operational noise.
HELICAL PUMPS
The screw pump, or progressive cavity pump, is a positive displacement pump widely used in various types of industries. It is mainly applied where centrifugal pumps do not present good results.
Main features of the equipment:
.Ideal for pumping high viscosity products (up to 1000000cP's) with abrasives, where the centrifugal pump does not perform well.
. Low NPSH required, decreasing the risk of cavitation.
.The continuous flow allows higher control of flow rate and working pressure.
.The soft pumping does not change the properties of pumped fluids.
The operating principle of the screw pump is a steel helical rotor with a circular profile that rotates inside an elastomer stator with twice the rotor pitch.
The rotor and stator geometry creates sealed cavities formed between suction and discharge. The opening and closing of these cavities create a depression in the suction nozzle which causes the fluid to be sucked and develops a volumetric flow directly proportional to its rotation.
Its functioning principle allows the pumping of highly viscous, chemically aggressive fluids and with solids up to a certain size, where centrifugal pumps do not have a good response.
DOWNHOLE PC PUMPS FOR OIL & GAS INDUSTRY
PCPs are positive displacement volumetric rotary pumps used all over the world as an artificial lift method for petroleum extraction. The carbon steel rotor receives a hard chrome coating and the stator manufactured with a petroleum-resistant elastomer inside are the main components of the PCP. While operating the rotor is inserted inside the stator and form sealed cavities that advance progressively, resulting a positive and continuus displacement process, proportional to the pump rotation.
ADVANTAGES OF DOWNHOLE PCP PUMPS
-
PCP pumps are capable of operating at low suction pressure. As result the oil well column requires less fluid to power the pump. When under atmospheric suction pressure it works with the well fluid level close to the pump suction without affecting its performance, which allows the well production to be increased to the maximum available fluid level.
-
It does not require heaters even when pumping high viscosity oils.
-
Pumping of oil and water with solids.
-
No internal valves that could clog pumping or block gas.
-
The soft and continuous operation helps preventing and controlling unwanted fluids and particles from the reservoir.
-
Minimal installation and maintenance costs.
MAIN APPLICATIONS
-
Heavy oil.
-
Medium oil.
-
Coal Methane (CBM) / Coal Gas (CSG)
-
Shale oil and water
PCP DRIVEHEADES FOR OIL & GAS INDUSTRY
VALGE™ PCP driveheads for the oil and gas are a technological innovation, highlighting the main features below:
PCP DRIVEHEADS ADVANTAGES
-
The VALGE™ PCP drive head connects directly to the wellhead, eliminating the concrete base required by some other artificial lift methods.
-
The space required for installation in the well is smaller than many other artificial lift systems.
-
Unlike other pumping systems, the VALGE™ PCP system presents lower risk of accidents in the case the wellhead is approached by persons of animals.
-
The API flange allows direct connection without adapters when changing from other systems to the VALGE™ PCP system.
-
The simple design minimizes maintenance and requires little lubrication.
-
The bearing system of the PCP drive head results in minimal vibration.
-
It can be easily adjusted to production rates by changing the rpm per mechanical processor with speed controllers (or with a simple acceleration change if using internal combustion engines).
-
Equipped with safety device that prevents the polish rod ejection.
-
Hydrodynamic brake system for storage and automatic and safe controlled release of energy on the rod string (backspin)
-
Safety against losses and mechanical failures.
MAIN APPLICATIONS
-
Heavy oil.
-
Medium oil.
